Chocolate mousse is my favorite dessert which I would like to make at home on sundays mostly..Yeah..I prefer home made mousse which is fresh and gluten free too..After heavy spicy meals on sunday love to have a bowl of dessert often.So,I prefer to try with chocolate..may be sunday the word itself brings the laziness I think..Because,Though I craves for dessert,though heart forces to try a new recipe every time laziness pushes to create a recipe in less time...
How can I spend so much of time even on sunday while the complete world takes rest..Hehehhe!! Before kids I was only the one person who eats chocolate,but now it`s different.. My two little boys gives company in chocolate treats.So,loves to try with more interest always.. last sunday created this simple mousse according to my thoughts which is very easy to make and tastes absolutely amazing.The goodness of chocolate and creamy texture gives a wonderful feel when you take  a spoon... This mousse does n`t need agar agar or gelatin,infact you can make this in 10 minutes..wow.that`s sounds great nah....Yes ...You can make this rich looking mousse in just 10 minutes...All you need is,whipping cream,chocolate,some cookies and other common ingredients..Chilling for maximum time gives the best result.So,try to keep it in fridge for maximum over night or minimum 2 hours..I enjoyed it with my sweet boys and the one word Mahadev said "Awesome Mommy" An amazing Feeling for the beautiful compliment...:)

PREPARATION TIME-10-15 MINUTES

WHAT YOU NEED

1/4 cup milk
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
200 grams/7 ounces chocolate, coarsely chopped
1/2 tablespoon vanilla essence (optional)
3/4 -1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon instant coffee (optional)

cinnamon powder-1/2 tsp (optional)
*any brand chocolate cookies or biscuits*


HOW TO COOK
Place chocolate+coffee in a large bowl.
In a medium saucepan, boil milk and sugar over medium heat. Once sugar has melted, pour the hot syrup over the chocolate. Let stand for 30 seconds, then mix until chocolate has melted and the batter is smooth. If the chocolate has n’t fully melted, microwave the mixture for 15-20 seconds. Stir in vanilla. If mixture is warm, leave on the counter until it reaches room temperature. OR

First microwave chocolate for 2 minutes .Then add milk and microwave for 2 minutes..This time chocolate will creamy and smooth.So,add in sugar and vanilla..Mix well.
In a mixer bowl, beat heavy cream and instant coffee until soft peaks form. Gently fold half of the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until combined, then the remaining whipped cream until combined and smooth. Now,blend cookies into fine powder and add in mousse along with cinnamon powder..Mix and  and divide into serving cups.
Chill the mousse to set for at least 2 hours.Store mousse in the fridge, covered with plastic wrap, for up to 3 days.
