This is a simple soup which is folded with ragi  or finger millet flour.Honestly speaking though ragi flour is  healthy,Iam not feeling interesting to use it.I brought finger millet last time from india, it`s still in cup board same like that...  have prepared home made ragi flour long time also,it still resting in kitchen..hehehehe..
Trying to find out every time easy recipes of ragi and this is one of the best recipe, I feel..It`s like ragi java but for a change and rich taste we I used almond paste in the making of the recipe..So,for a variation you can try this quick and easy healthy ragi badam java which is very filling.For growing kids and diabetes patients it`s a very good soup to have..Don`t miss trying this.

WHAT YOU NEED

Almonds/Badam -15
Butter - 1 tbsp
Cloves - 4 no

cumin-1/2 tsp
Bay leaf- 1
Water as we needed
Ragi flour/almond flour - 1 cup
Black Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Salt- to taste



HOW TO COOK


In a bowl add in ragi flour and water.mix well without any lumps.Grind almonds into fine paste using 1-2 tbsp water.

Heat a non stick pan with oil,crackle cumin,cloves.Add in water and salt.let it boil.Add in ragi paste and stir to avoid burning.Cook for 5 minutes in low flame

Add in ground almond paste and mix continuously.Add in pepper powder and mix gently.

Cook for 5 more minutes and turn off. If it looks too thick you can add more water but stirring is very important.other wise it starts forming lumps.Turn off..

Serve hot or warm always.
