SOYA PEAS ROTI

From last few months i started using SOYA..It`s my own idea of roti making with soya..and i have some frozen peas in my fridge..so,included those mashed peas in the flour......Who avoids to eat SOYA for those you can serve these rotis..Here is the easy n simple recipe list....

Ingredients

wheat flour-1cup
all purpose flour-1/2cup
salt-to taste
boiled soya chunks-1cup
boiled peas-1/2cup
fennel seeds/sompu-1tsp
chilli powder/green chilli paste-1tsp
garam malsa-1/2tsp
oil-2tsps

OIL-FOR PAN FRYING

Preparation

Take the boiled SOYA and PEAs in a mixy jar...Grind into a coarse paste.....

Mix all the other ingredients along with Soya-peas mix...

make like a soft dough and keep aside for 15-20mints.

Roll into roti...heat tawa and cook on both sides well..apply some oil while cooking....

Ready to fry on pan

MANGO SHRIKHAND

Hi.......guys...how are you all?? Iam stilll quite busy with my kids........My little one is naughty and each and every minute he just wants to sit on my lap....And he sleeps very less too.....So, i have no time to meet you all.......From my heart iam saying missing you all allot.......Still i have some more recipes in my draft list.....Nowadays very difficultly iam getting some time to write this draft posts....Hope within one month my little one will walk..Hope i may get some time to catch you all..
Coming to the recipe it`s very a super easy and tasty dessert...I think you can serve this without any doubts to your kids.....It tastes awesome when you serve chilled....So,just once try this......I hope you guys will like this...
Ingredients

mango pulp-1/2cup
fresh thick curd-1/2litre
sugar-1/4cup(adjust acd 2 ur taste)
milk-1tsp
cardamom powder-1/2tsp
saffron stands-few(opt)
almonds/cashews-few
Preparation

In thick curd just add sugar mix it and keep aside for 10minutes.....

add saffron stand in milk and keep aside....

now beat the curd well and mix the remaining all ingredients and ekep it in the fridge for atleast 1hour.....

serve chilled........





STRAWBERRY CASHEW MILKSHAKE | EASY BREAK FAST IDEAS | SUMMER SPECIAL MILK SHAKES


I think most of you added or adding almonds in different fruit shakes or smoothies....right??have you any one tried cashews with straw berries??I tried this combination for the first time..and it was a hit...YES.....I have lots of juices,shakes and smoothie recipes in my blog..even though i like to create new combos.....so,here goes the recipe details.........
Ingredients

straw berries chopped - 10+2tbsps
milk-1 glass
sugar-2-3 tbsp
cashews-15
raisins chopped -10

Preparation

soak cashews in 1/2 glass of milk for 15 mints.... and blend into a fine paste.........

now in a blender take the chopped straw berries,sugar,cashew paste and remaining milk....blend til soft.....

to the blended juice add chopped raisins and straw berries and serve chilled....

Iam in plan to start DIET..So,iam trying different salads...

Ingredients

cherry tomatoes-10(cut into 2)
sweet corn-1cup
grated carrot-3/4cup
grated cucumber-3/4cup
salt-to taste
vinegar-1tsp

Preparation

Combine in a bowl grated carrot,cucumber,corns,tomatoes.........

add in salt,vinegar and mix well.set this aside for 15 minutes and serve........

Rice crackers or pappu billalu are my favorite child hood snack which amma used to make during festival times..Vinayaka chavithi /Ganesh chaturthi is a big festival in Dad`s home which we people celebrate by kepting lord ganesh idol at home for 5 or 10 days..So,generally on this festival or some times on dasara or diwali she used to make these deep fried thattai in huge quantity along with muruku..Still,I remember the scene which she do always in kitchen..

STRAWBERRY CAKE


Who avoid to eat the cakes??soalespecially kids right?? Usually with strawberries I prepare milk shakes or smoothies. But this is the first time I tried a cake using fresh berries with yogurt addition.When I thought to bake a cake with strawberries i was quite curious about the result  but surprisingly cake came out so fluffy and soft. Depending on the sugar addition cake sweetness is depended so add 1/2 cup more if you want too sweet..

that is JEERA RICE PULAV.

yes.its very easy to make..and tastes simply delicious..now this JEERA RICE also one my of my fav food in rice varities...peluk....i added some carrots and peas for a change and nutritional values..peace
when I thought to try a new recipe pulav i remembered cumin.i just love the flavour of cumin..you can feelmalu the nice flavour of cumin after cooked.the ings cinnamon and cloves gives the spicy n hot taste to the pulav...then why late??
here is the simple and spicy pulav details..just check it and share your lovely comments with me..please friends.....angel.....


Ingredients
basmati rice-2cups
carrots-2small
peas-1cup(i used frozen)
cumin-2tsps
cardamom-4
cinnamon-1inch piece
cloves-4
green chillies-3chopped
oil-2tsps
salt-to taste
cumin-1tsp(opt)for garnish

Preparation
wash the rice and soak for 30mins.
in a thick bottomed vessel heat oil and add cloves,cardamom,cinnamon and cumin..mix and fry well..
add in carrots,chilies and peas....add salt too....
add drained rice and water and bring it to boil.....(check the water level as per your cooking method)
when the rice is half cooked simmer the flame and cook for 10-15mins....
off the flame and serve with any side dish of your choice.....
I just love it with curd or raita.........



NOTE
after adding the rice and water in the vessel pour this into the rice cooker..rice will cook automatically..
it is very easy method to cook..(I usually prefers in this method)kenyit
fry the other tsp of cumin in 1tsp of ghee and sprinkle on top of the rice..kenyit

BOTTLE GOURD KOFTA GRAVY

Iam doing this BOTTLEGUARD COFTA GRAVY first time.actually my hubby is not big fan of the coftas and thick gravy dishes.sedih

He likes very simple and loose consistency dishes with rice..but i love all types of foods in veg..As a food lover have to try all the varities na??...that`s why i tried it..it was so tasty..when my hub tasted it said that Hmm.it tastes good...love

From now on wards try new varity of cofta dishes..i was suprised.any way iam happy and from now i can try some more this type dishes.rindu.......so..why late.here is my recipe list.

Ingredients
bottle gourd-1(3cups shredded)
tomatoes-3big
onion-1big
chilli powder-2tsps
turmeric-1/2tsp
salt-to taste
garam masala-2tsps
ginger-small piece
green chilli-1
turmeric-1/2tsp
garlic cloves-3
coriander leaves/cilantro-1/2cup
besan flour/gram flour-1cup(as needed to make coftas)
oil-2tsps
oil-for deep frying coftas
Preparation

making Coftas

peel and grate the bottle gourd..add little salt and water and bring it to boil..
after it cools squeeze the water and add besan flour,half chili powder and make into round shaped balls.
deep fry the balls in the oil til turns to golden..

Making gravy

chop the veggies and grind together to make puree....(tomatoes,onions,green chilli,ginger,garlic)
now heat a kadai with oil add tomato puree,chilli powder,garam masala,turmeric and cook on med heat til the puree starts leaving oil.
add 1-2cups of water and remaining salt let it boil to turn the gravy thick...
adjust the water in the gravy as per your taste.....
add the prepared coftas and cook it in low flame for 5 more min.
off the heat and add cilantro..
serve hot your yummy cofta gravy with rice.......
