Pulao or biriyani is a very good option to make for lunch.Often,I cook one pot meals for lunch,even my little boys also started liking it when I serve with some ghee.This time used baby corn as a main ingredient.Along with it also used  carrots,potatoes to make it delicious.
It`s a simple pulao with light spices,but used mint and cilantro leaves which gives a nice flavor.You can use any vegetables according to your choice.try it next time and enjoy hot with any raita..Here in below I sharing the other pulao recipes too.check it please.

WHAT YOU NEED


10 baby corn (I used canned)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 cups basmati or normal rice
1/2 tbsp oil + 1/2 tbsp ghee
4 cloves +1″ cinnamon+1 green cardamom pod+1 bay leaf+1 tsp fennel seeds+1 tsp cumin 
salt to taste
1 tsp red chili powder (as per your taste)
carrot-2 small
potato-2 small
cream-2 tbsp (or curd also can use)
1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
1/2 cup chopped pudina/mint leaves
2-3 green chilli (optional)
1 small tomato (optional)
1 medium size onion, chopped

Well,I added whole garam masala spices in the starting,so no used garam masala powder..If you like can add 1/2 tsp powder for flavor/taste..


HOW TO COOK

Boil baby corn for 10 minutes in medium flame and keep aside.Chop vegetables and keep aside.wash rice twice and soak in water for 30 minutes.
Heat oil+ghee in a vessel, add in whole spices and saute for half a minute. Add in onion,GGP and saute for 5 minutes. Add in potato,carrot,boiled corn ,turmeric,chili powder,salt and cook for another 5 minutes,add in cream and saute for 10 more minutes in low flame.
Now add in washed rice and 4 cups water and bring to a boil. add in coriander leaves,mint leaves .Reduce heat and cover with lid and cook till the rice is done.serve hot with raita or curd.
