Finally hubby dear accepted to take home made bread loafs for break fast instead of store bought wheat flour packets..Banana is his favorite fruit.so,specially for him I decided to use banana as main ingredient,for healthy version wheat flour,olive oil and sum times eggs and any nuts..This the basic method which i kept in my mind and started baking every time with different combinations..
So,this is the first bread loaf which i tried with tutti frutti combination..This is a healthy loaf with wheat flour,but contains eggs.Soon will post eggless version and complete vegan version too.In this recipe,you need yogurt which gives a moist texture and adding tutti frutti is just an optional which is my choice.Yo can top with any chopped nuts before baking the loaf.Instead of store bought, high price bread packets this kind of home made guilt free breads are much better to have happily..The plus point in this recipe is,you can also freeze the loafs.So, can bake 2-3 loafs in weekends,freeze it and when you want to serve thaw it before 1 hour..Here goes the simple tasty banana bread recipe.

TOP 10 Banana cakes Recipes

WHAT YOU NEED


1 cup mashed ripe bananas /2 large bananas
3/4 cup white or brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup low-fat plain yogurt
1/4 cup canola or vegetable or olive oil
 2 large eggs
1 1/2 cup  whole wheat flour
handful tutti frutti
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt


HOW TO BAKE

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F  or 200 degrees C.Apply oil or butter to pan and dust with flour.Set aside.
  
In a large bowl combine the mashed bananas, eggs, oil,yogurt and vanilla. now combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and tutti frutti.Now mix every thing well until the batter is thick and chunky. don`t over mix the batter. 

Bake until bread is golden brown and a  toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, about 40-45 minutes. Place on a wire rack to cool and then remove the bread from the pan. Serve warm with milk or coffee. you can also frozen this bread by neat packing.
