I love to try different kind of gravies with non veg like mutton or chicken..Mostly I prefers traditional recipes.other than that some times tries my own ideas too..This is also one of the simple dish which I cooked according to my taste..I have used dry roasted pepper corns powder after pressure cooking teh chicken.so, it gives a hot and spicy  taste to the dish..

I have given step by step pictures in the below.Try it next time and enjoy hot with puri,roti or pulkas..


CATEGORY-CHICKEN GRAVIES/EASY CHICKEN CURRIES/NON VEG
PREPARATION TIME- 30 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

boned chopped chicken-1 kg
green capsicum-1 big
curd-1/2 cup
tomato-1 big or 2 small size
black cumin seeds-1 tsp
bay leaf-1
cardamom pods-2
cinnamon stick-1 inch
chopped onions,- 1 cup
cilantro leaves-1 handful
ginger garlic paste/GGP- 1tbsp
oil-2 -3 tbsp

Spice powders
red chili powder-1 tsp
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp

To dry roast
black pepper corns+cumin seeds=1 tbsp+1 tbsp



HOW TO COOK

Turn on heat under pressure cooker with oil.Throw in black cumin seeds,bay leaf,cardamom pods,cinnamon stick.Saute for 2 seconds.Throw chopped onions,GGP now and saute for 2 minutes.

Now Add in chopped capsicum,tomato and fry for 2-3 minutes in high flame.Then add in spice powders
,washed chicken and mix well.

Then add curd and 1/2 cup of water..mix once again and pressure cook for 20 minutes.Mean while in a non stick pan dry roast black pepper corns,cumin seeds.grind into fine powder and add in cooked chicken..If you have add freshly chopped cilantro leaves too.

Mix nicely and serve hot with rotis..
