Oven baked chicken tikka | Chicken Tikka made in oven and Chicken tikka masala gravy with step by step pictures | How to make chicken tikka masala gravy

Hi every one..welcome to Mahaslovelyhome after a long time..Though I love blogging,iam cooking not feeling well to spend time for photography.also, very hardly getting time to rest even..It`s tough to find out a good,sincere maid whom we can believe..So,still in search Iam :) Hope I found soon.
 Iam not clicking any foods,I mean recipes for blogs these days..But,still have some old posts in draft..will share those all from now..This is one of the very good post which is draft from a long time..The writing part of the recipe making me lazy every time, any way finally came today in front of you all.


1.      Chicken boneless-500 gm,cut into medium sized pieces
2.      red chilly powder-1 tbsp/as per your to taste
3.      Ginger garlic paste-1tbsp/as per your to taste
4.      Kasthurimethi -1 tbsp (optional)
5.      garam masala-1 tsp
6.      Ajwain seeds-1/4 tsp
7.      Thick curd-1/4 cup
8.      Lemon juice-2 tsp
9.      Salt
10.  Oil-1tbsp+ little for brushing the tikkas while cooking
11.  Capsicum-1 no,de ribbed and cut into squares
12.  Onion-1 medium ,cut into squares
13.  Tomato-1 medium, de seeded and squared
14.carrot-1 big chop into circles

Bamboo skewers 4-5

Method of preparation

1.      In a bowl take the the ingredients from 2 -10 and mix well. Add in chicken pieces and vegetable pieces into this and mix everything up .Keep this in fridge for at least 2 hours or over night.

2.      Mean while arrange a aluminum paper on a pizza plate and grease it with oil.if you are using bamboo sticks,soak them in water for 30 minutes.

3.      Preheat the oven at 200 for 10 minutes. Arrange the chicken pieces and vegetable on skewers or bamboo sticks ..Take a skewers and first put one piece chicken then put one 
piece bel paper then put one piece onion and then put one piece tomato.Again repeat the 
same process until complete the one bamboo skewers.Now keep the chicken skewers into the baking tray. Now Put little amount of oil in the top of the chicken.

 4. Bake at 180 for 30-40 minutes.. or until the edges turned really brown and the meat is cooked through. Brush little oil in between to prevent the meat from drying.Serve in hot with green chutney in any party or get together.I am sure every one will love this chicken tikka. Enjoy.


Grilled Chicken tikkas-3 skewers
Oil-2 tbsp
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
chopped onion -1 medium size
tomato paste or tomato puree-1/2 cup
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1.2 tsp
cumin+coriander- 1/2 +1/2  tsp
ch­illi powder-1/2 tsp or 1 tsp
cream-1/3 cup


 Take a pan add oil,cumin seeds,cloves,bay leaf.saute for few seconds.

Then throw in finely chopped onion,salt,GGP cook in low medium for a minute.then add  turmeric,cumin,coriander,ch­illi powder,little water mix well add tomato paste. mix well close it with a lid for 5 min.

 Now add the grilled tikkas (chicken and vegetables) let it cook for 5 minutes,add cream stir carefully,cook for 5 mire minutes in low flame.finally add in coriander leaves chopped.mix well.turn off and serve hot with roti/paratha/naan..
