Simple Dry fruit pulao | Simple Pulao without vegetables | Rice Varieties | Simple Indian Recipes


This is a rich and tasty rice pulao without any vegetables.But,there is a special in the recipe..Yes.It is fully loaded with dry fruits and nuts..I used cashews,almonds and raisins which are in my hand..But you can also pistachios,walnuts,hazel nuts,black raisins etc..The name of the recipe must significant the nuts in the pulao.
This non spice pulao tastes great with any gravies..Like baby corn gravies,paneer gravies or even with non veg gravies/curries also tastes awesome..I served this along with mutton korma..Personally I loves it...Hope you likes too.

WHAT YOU NEED

onion-1 small
green chili -3-4
cashews+almonds+raisins-each one fistful
basmati rice-2 cups+water-as needed to cook rice
salt-1/4 tsp
oil+ghee-1+2 tbsp
bay leaf-1
cumin seeds-1 tsp
cloves-2
cardamom pods-2
cinnamon stick-1 inch


HOW TO COOK

Heat oil+ghee in a woke/vessel.. Fry the ingredients which under oil.. Fry chopped onion,green chili too.

Now throw chopped cashews,almonds,raisins,fry for 5 minutes in medium flame..Add in rice,salt and mix well ..

Now pour enough water and cook till rice done.Serve hot with any gravy or non veg dish..
