Rotis are my favorite.I prefer chapathis mostly for dinner.So,every time used to make different rotis like,lacha paratha,rumali roti or some time pulkas. Also,according to my taste some times folds veggies or leafy veggies like spinach,cilantro leaves or mint leaves in flour and prepares masala rotis... I have already posted avacado paneer roti recipe long time in blog.
But, I have created different version where we use oats flour easily. Yes.This is same like avacado roti,but the difference is added oats flour along with wheat flour.

using less oil along with other healthy ingredients makes this roti very healthy.so,can add in diet foods happily..In dinner times it place a very good role when you serve with delicious curries or masala gravies..Health conscious is important for every one in this present busy lifes.This kind of easy recipes always keeps you healthy,satisfies your tastebuds and fills tummy too.Try it next time and enjoy... :)

PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 30 MINUTES




WHAT YOU NEED

Avocado - half fruit (how to freeze avocado pulp)
oats powder/flour-1/2 cup
wheat flour-1 1/2 cup-2 cups
red chili powder- 1 tsp
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
garam masala-1/4 tsp
hing/asafoetida-2 pinches


HOW TO COOK

Remove out the avocado pulp. Add in spice powders,mix well. grind oatmeal into fine powder/flour.Then add in avocado mixture along wheat flour and mix well..


Prepare dough,knead well..Rest for 10-15 minutes and divide into equal size balls.roll it like roti,using extra flour.Pan fry roti with oil and serve hot with any gravies,chutneys or curries..

MAHAS NOTES

You can only use wheat flour and skip oats powder/flour.

Adding spices is your choice.

Don`t add water while making dough,moisture in the avocado is fine to prepare dough.

After rolling apply oil,dust some flour,fold it and roll again.this step gives a nice layers in roti..
