Soya chunks are my favorite..But my hubby avoids allot..Hehehe..Quite opposite tastes actually..May be those type of couples lives life long i think.. :) Well.. Soya chunks or soya nuggets are called as meal maker commonly..Very few times I have tasted this before marriage,but hated it..
Now again after so many years,started cooking these healthy stufss according to my taste..I love to fold them with rice,like pulao or biryani and some times also cooks gravies/kormas which are very good combination rotis,pulkas.. This time,I stri fried these with the touch of pepper powder.So,the dish was quite hot n spicy and a perfect pair with curd rice..also,can serve with rotis along with a cup of curd/butter milk if you like..

WHAT YOU NEED


Soya nuggets/soya chunks/meal maker - 1 cup (boiled and chopped)
Onion - 1 medium sized (long sliced)
green chili-1 small (optional)
tomato puree-2 tbsp
red chili powder-1/2 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Black pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt to taste
oil -1-2 tablespoon

cilantro leaves-few

HOW TO COOK

Heat oil  in a non stick pan...throw cumin,cloves..Add onions,GGP and saute for 2 minutes.Add boiled soya nuggets and saute for 2 minutes more.Add tomato puree and mix well..Now,add red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder as required and mix it.Cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.
Add in black pepper powder, mix well. Also,throw some cilantro leaves,if you have and stir once again and turn off.Serve hot with rice or roti along with curd raita.
