I already posted baby corn baby peas korma in MLH long time back..In that recipe used store bought tomato puree for rich color and look.also in the masala paste used cashews..
In this recipe used onions, tomato,curd and coconut...You
can add potato also while cooking this gravy. The masala
paste which we use in the recipe gives a nice gravy look
which is mild spicy and tasty... You can serve this simple
dish along with rotis and combination is simply great!

PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
2 cups chopped into 1 inch size baby corn
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1 big sized onion
2 small tomatoes
1 bayleaf (tejpatta)
1-2 tbsp curd/yogurt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
2 tbsp chopped cilantro leaves
for the korma paste:
1/2 cup coconut pieces
1 tbsp khus khus/gasagasalu
5 cashews (optional)
Grind coconut,khus khus into fine paste using 2-3 tbsp of water..
Boil the chopped baby corn in hot water for 10 minutes in medium flame.drain and set aside.
heat a non stick pan with oil,throw cumin seeds,mustard seeds,cloves..
Fry chopped onions,GGP until brown in color and add chopped tomato..Cook til tomato turns mushy,then add ground coconut paste.Mix well and cook for a minute.
Add in boiled baby corn,stir once.add in red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder mix well..Add in 1/2-3/4 th cup of water.Close with lid and cook for 10 minutes in low flame.
Add in curd and mix it..Finally throw freshly chopped cilantro leaves and turn off.Serve hot with roti/chapathi..
