Chicken or mutton what ever it is..I like to cook more than eating..Every time love to try different version recipes or indian popular recipe more than try the same old methods.. This was the recipe which is in draft from last 2 years almost..yup..
That`s not a small time really..With the step wise pics I was not happy actually but more than the pictures presentation my goal is to  show the new recipe to viewers.So,those who loves the dish please smile.Also,those who dislikes the pictures please adjust.. 

I have asked few of my blogger friends about the recipe presentation.most of the people told me that attractive picture presentation is important in this present competitive blog world.though I agree it,I can`t put the best efforts in it..My aim is to share many more easy,tasty recipes in MLH with simple pictures and honestly,proudly appreciating all the friends who are taking blogging or photography like a challenge..Love their passion really :)

PREPARATION TIME- 30 MINUTES

COOKING TIME-40 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED

chicken drum sticks-1 kg or boned chicken pieces

onions chopped -1 cup

butter-1/4 cup

tomato chopped -1 cup

Oil-1/4 cup

cumin seeds-1 tsp

cloves-3-4


green cardamom pods-3

fennel seeds-1/2 tsp

red chili powder-1 tsp

salt- to taste

turmeric powder-1 tsp

dry kasoori methi-1 tbsp

lemon juice-1 tbsp

ginger garlic paste-1 tsp

To grind into fine paste

milk-1/4 cup


coconut pieces-1/8 cup

almonds-10

cashews-10



HOW TO COOK


In cup take almonds,cashews,coconut pieces,add milk and

soak for 15-20 minutes.

Wash chicken twice,marinate chicken with little bit of  red 

chili powder,salt,turmeric powder,dry kasoori methi,lemon 

juice,ginger garlic paste for 1-2 hours.

Turn on heat under a thick bottomed pan,add oil..fry chicken  
for 10 minutes in low flame.keep aside.. In the same pan add

butter,throw cumin seeds,cloves,green cardamom pods,

fennel seeds..

Add coarsely ground onion paste,fry for a minute..Add in 

fried chicken.cook for 5 minutes add in chopped tomatoes..

Mix well and cook for 5 minutes again..Add in spice powders,

mix then pour 1/4 cup of water and cook for 10 minutes..Add

in ground paste ,mix nicely,you can add some color if you 

like and cook for 15 minutes in low flame.or until chicken 

done.I used boned small size drum sticks,so took bit long 

time.

Cook until chicken done and serve hot with roti or chapathi.
