Allam Bellam Chai | Ginger Jaggery Tea | chá com leite | Ginger jaggery chai


Chai is the most common refreshing drink in indian homes.Usually, I goes with coffee but when H asks for tea tries different recipes instead of regular one..

This time tried ginger jaggery tea,means used jaggery in the place of sugar and dry ginger powder for strong flavor..Totally it is an aromatic and flavourful chai,You can check similar recipes here..

PREPARATION TIME- 5 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 5 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED

Milk-1 1/2 cup

water-1/3 cup

tea powder -2 tea spoon

dry ginger powder/ sonti podi -1 tea spoon

jaggery/bellam coarsely powdered- 1 table spoon


HOW TO COOK

Heat water in vessel or tea mug.Add in tea powder and let it 

boil. Now, add dry ginger powder and mix well.

When it starts boiling add milk and stir well.Boil for half 

minute and add jaggery.. boil for half more minute and turn 

off the gas..

Sieve it into cup and serve hot with some pakoras or 

bajjis..
