I don`t repeat same old recipes always,but loves to try new dishes every time..Specially,loves to try different dishes in non veg category.I have already posted kadai chicken in blog which is curry version.Here is the another version in gravy style..
Kadai chicken masala is popular dish in north indian with lots of spices and masala powders.Freshly prepared masala powder gives a nice aroma and flavor to the dish..Tomato puree which we added in the gravy gives a beautiful color and  curd,cream gives a nice gravy consistency to dish..It tastes great with Indian flat breads like roti,naan,pulka,paratha or even with white rice,bagara rice also tastes very nice..Try this dish and enjoy.

WHAT YOU NEED
To roast and grind
coriander seeds-1 tea spoon
cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
kasoori methi-1 table spoon
red chillies-3
bay leaf-1
cardamom pods-2
cloves-3
cinnamon stick-1 inch stick
japathri -1
Other ingredients
oil-2 table spoons
onion-1 big
chicken pieces-5oo grams with bone
green capsicum-1 big
tomato puree-1/3 cup
curd-1/4 cup
cream-1/4 cup
chopped coriander leaves-2 table spoons
Spice powders
Red chili powder-2 tea spoons
salt-to taste
garam masala-1 tea spoon
ginger garlic paste-1 table spoon
cumin powder-1 tea spoon
coriander powder-1 tea spoon
lemon juice-2 table spoon



HOW TO COOK
Wash and take chicken in bowl..Add all the spice powders,ginger garlic paste,lemon juice and mix well..Rest for 1 hour.In a pan dry roast coriander seeds,cumin seeds,kasoori methi,red chillies,bay leaf,cardamom pods,cloves,cinnamon stick,japathri for 5 minutes..grind into fine powder..
Heat a non stick pan with oil,saute onions for a minute..Add in marinated chicken,mix and cook for 10 minutes in low flame.
Add in chopped capsicum,tomato puree,curd,1 cup of water and mix well.Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
Then add freshly ground masala powder,cream,coriander leaves,mix it and cook for 5 more minutes in low flame and turn off..
Serve hot with roti or rice.
