Spinach Coconut Chicken | Palak Coconut Chicken | Palakura Kodi Koora | 20 Chicken Gravies | Palak Murgh | Chicken Gravy Recipes With Roti

We don`t get spinach here in foz,but frozen spinach is available in argentina.. But last few days back in near by shop got a spinach bunch.. So,tried few recipes immediately.. This is a simple chicken gravy with green sauce based..Palak is the main green leaf in this gravy in this dish,but I have also used mint +cilantro leaves along with spinach..
I cooked this in the evening time,that`s why Pictures are little bit dull..If the green sauce is ready,cooking process is quite easy and can finish it in less than 30 minutes..You can grind whole garam masala along with green leaves.Pressure cooking chicken is best idea to make it fast...If you want to cook boneless chicken cook in a vessel instead of pressure cooking..Finally,serve hot with roti.

spinach,leaves-1 cup chopped 
mint,+ cilantro leaves -1 cup chopped
coconut pieces-1/4 cup
onion,-1/4 cup chopped 
green chili-4-5
green capsicum-1 small
chicken with bone-600 grams
red chili powder-2 tea spoons
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1 tea spoon
cumin powder-1 tea spoon
coriander powder-1 tea spoon
garam masala-1 tea spoon
oil-2 table spoons
cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
bay leaf-1
cardamom pods-1
cinnamon stick-1" inch

Chop spinach,mint,cilantro leaves..Wash well,take in colander.Chop coconut,onion,green chili. Now take all the green leaves,coconut,1/4 th cup of chopped onion,green chili in mixy jar,add 1/3 cup of water and blend into fine puree..

Now heat a pressure cooker with oil,Throw whole garam masala ingredients,saute for few seconds..add chopped onion,ginger garlic paste,saute for a minute.. Add in chopped green capsicum,saute for 2 minutes..Add in washed chicken,all the spice powders,mix every thing once, cook for 5 minutes in medium flame, then add ground green puree.. Cover with lid,cook for 15 minutes in medium flames or 2 whistle.Once the chicken is done,turn off and serve hot with roti..
