Pachadi is one of the comforting side dish to serve with hot white rice..We south indian often prepares different kinds of pachadi recipes with variety of vegetables.. Pachadi is a telugu word which means chutney actually..I often makes it with tomato,brinjal and coconut some times.. It is one of my favorite food which I love to have with rice along with combination of curd..Green chili is the main spice which needs in making this but unfortunately which is not available here for me..We get red color chillies here in markets,which gives a different color in the result when you make a chutney..That`s why I avoids to use them.. But last few days back in a arabi shop,got some green chillies,so tried this chutney.. Usually with tomato sesame combination or tomato+peanut combination prepares chutney..But, by mixing both I prepared this. Also, added some roasted chanadal in it but you can skip that..This is an easy yet delicious chutney which is perfect to serve with rice or even in breakfast with idli and dosa goes very well.try it next time..

WHAT YOU NEED
peanuts-2 table spoons
sesame seeds-2 table spoons
roasted chana dal -1 table spoon
green chilli- 5-8
ginger garlic paste-1 tea spoon
tamarind pulp-little bit/goose berry size
mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
urad dal-1 tea spoon
hing/asafoetida-1/4 tea spoon
Heat a pan add peanuts,sesame seeds,roasted chana dal and fry for 5 minutes in low flame..when it cools,grind into powder..
Heat a non stick pan with oil,when the oil is hot add chopped onion,tomato,green chilli,ginger garlic paste,salt,tamarind pulp.. Mix once and cook for 10 minutes in low flame,until every thing turns soft and mushy. Then turn off gas and let it cool.. Once it cool,grind into coarse paste along with peanuts,sesame seeds,roasted chana dal powder using mix jar.Now prepare tadka and pour it on ground chutney.
