This is a simple tomato rasam with black pepper powder addition..That`s why calling as "Tomato Pepper Rasam".. Basically,tomato rasam is an indian hot soup which we call charu in our common telugu language..I added fresh pepper powder to make it spicy and cooked it in different method..

PREPARATION TIME- 20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES
salt- to taste
tamarind juice - 2 table spoons
turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon (I forgotten)
coriander powder- 1 tea spoon
rasam powder- 1 tea spoon
pepper corns -1 tea spoon
Oil-2 table spoons
mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
cumin seeds- 1 tea spoon
garlic cloves- 4
hing/asafoetida- 2 pinches
HOW TO COOK
With knife put marks in tomatoes,boil for 10-15 minutes in high flame or until tomatoes turns very soft.
Peel out the skin and grind tomatoes into puree,keep aside.. Soak tamarind,squeeze out the juice and keep ready.. Dry roast pepper corns and grind into powder.
Now heat a vessel with oil, when the oil is hot throw all the ingredients which mentioned under "Tadka".. Then add chopped onions and turmeric powder (I forgotten) fry for 2 minutes.Now pour tomato puree,salt,pepper powder,tamarind juice,coriander powder,rasam powder.Mix well and let it boil for 5-8 minutes in low flame..
Turn off now and serve hot with rice and curry.
