Beetroot Kurma | Beetroot Coconut Masala | Beetroot Masala Korma With Coconut | Veg Gravies For Chapathi


Beetroot is our favorite which I cook often and prepares lots and lots of juice varieties..Beetroot juice and beetroot rice,beetroot curd rice and beetroot coconut milk delight are the common recipes which I makes always..I have already posted beetroot curry,long time back in my blog..
This time introducing a simple and healthy beet root korma which is a perfect dish to serve with roti..For this korma,use fresh coconut always and you can use chopped fresh beet root or boil the beetroot and can use in the recipe to make it fast,here I boiled it..Cook this healthy korma next time and serve hot with roti.


WHAT YOU NEED

Beet root-2 big
onion-1 small
green chili-4-6
salt-to taste
ginger -small piece
garlic cloves-3
coconut-1/3 cup pieces or powder
garam masala-1/2 tea spoon
coriander/dhaniya powder-1 tea spoon
coriander leaves /dhaniya -2 table spoons chopped
red chili powder-1/2 tea spoon
salt-to taste
turmeric powder -1/2 tea spoon
oil-1 tbsp
cumin seeds-1 tsp
mustard seeds-1 tsp
red chilli-1
curry leaves-few

HOW TO COOK


Grind coconut,ginger,garlic cloves,green chili into fine paste
 along with 2 tbsp of water.Heat oil in vessel,crackle cumin 
seeds,mustard seeds,red chili and curry leaves..Saute onions 
until light brown in color.Throw ground coconut mixture,mix and cook for 2 minutes in medium flame.Add red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder and stir well.Then add in 1 cup of water,beet root and mix well..Cook for 5 more minutes and add garam masala,coriander powder..Cook for 2 minutes and turn off.Throw some coriander leaves and serve hot with roti.
