Cauliflower Potato Curry | Gobi Aloo Subji | Vegetarian Subzi Recipes | Quick and Easy Curry Recipes For Roti | Subji Recipes For Chapathi


These days Iam making roti  almost every day so for a combination cooking different curries and gravies every time.This is an easy yet spicy subji with potato and cauliflower combination. Though this subji is North Indian famous,I cooked it in our south indian style with very common ingredients..
This curry is like dry vegetarian side dish which is perfect to serve with chapathi or with curd rice..Spices which we add gives a hot taste and can in minutes too..It`s a nice combination to try,so cook this next time and enjoy.

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES


WHAT YOU NEED
1 small size cauliflower, cut into florets
1 medium size onion
4 small potatoes, cubed

3 small tomatoes, chopped
few  chopped coriander leaves
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tbsp oil
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
1 tsp chana dal

1 tsp urad dal
1 tsp mustard seedsto taste salt

HOW TO COOK
Boil water in vessel.Add chopped potatoes,gobi florets,boil for 10 minutes in medium flame,drain in colander. Heat oil in a pan, saute urad dal,chana dal,mustard seeds,cumin seeds.Then add chopped onions, ginger-garlic paste saute for a minute and add boiled potatoes+cauliflower florets mix well.. Add in turmeric powder,red chili powder,salt and mix well.Add chopped tomato and cook till oil oozes out.If it looks too dry add in 2-3 tbsp water and saute well. Add garam masala and freshly chopped coriander leaves and fry for few minutes.Turn off and serve hot with naan , chapati , roti
