Bobbatlu or poli is an indian traditional festival sweet which is very popular..Usually on Ugadi festival we south indians loves to make this with chanadal jaggery stuffing which takes first place..Other than that with different fillings can make various poli recipes according to our sweet tooth.I have already few recipes before,gave the links below.This one is very simple to make,if the halwa is ready in your hand.On busy schedule you can try this easy bobbatlu which need less than half an hour but results into amazing..Try these halwa stuffed polis on this festival season and enjoy!!

PREPARATION TIME-20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20-30 MINUTES
1.Maida or wheat flour -1 cup
3.Ghee- as needed
extra flour for rolling
HOW TO COOK
1.Take a bowl add maida,salt and mix well by adding some water.Prepare a soft and smooth dough.
2.I have used sooji halwa for stuffing here..Prepare this and use left over for stuffing.
3.Now divide the dough into equal portions,prepare small round balls.
4.Roll them into small chapathi and place the halwa mixture in the middle and enclose it and remove the excess dough.
5.Flatten the filled ball and dust with chapati flour and gently roll out.
6.Heat a pan on stove,place the puran poli (bobbatlu) on hot tawa and allow it to cook on one side by applying some ghee.
7.Flip it over and allow it to cook on the other side.Serve hot..!!
