Weekend has arrived so, I thought to share few non-vege-tarian recipes this two days.I brought chanadal from India, but not using regularly like toordal.. I prefer different curries and gravies to cook with chicken every time instead of repe-ating same old variety..
So,while thinking about a recipe, got this recipe from google.According to my taste I cooked it and absolutely it`s super spicy and tasty too..Generally,i serve these kind non-vegetarian curries or gravies with chapathi but this is also goes very well with hot white rice or any mild tasting pulao`s like jeera pulao or green peas pulao..This combination may sounds weird but when you taste it defini-tely you`ll love it in fact it`s a healthy variation too. Try this rich and spicy dish next time and enjoy with hot rice or rotis.

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20-30 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
  Chilly powder-1 Tablespoon
  Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
  Ginger garlic paste-1 Table spoon
  Salt - To Taste
  Onion chopped -1 big
   Potato chopped-1 big
   Tomato-1 big
   Oil-3 Tablespoons
   Garam masala- 1 Tablespoon
  Chana dal-100 Grams/1.2 cup
   Chicken-500 Grams/1/2 kg
   Cumin powder-1 tea spoon
   Coriander powder-1 tea spoon
   Chicken masala-1 tea spoon
   Mint leaves-handful
   Coriander chopped-handful

HOW TO COOK
Wash chicken twice,keep aside..Wash and soak chanadal for 15-20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker add oil add chopped onion,potato,ginger garlic paste,tomato mix and add chicken pieces. Add turmeric powder,chili powder, cumin powder,coriander powder,garam masala,salt,2 cups of water and cilantro+mint leaves. Put the lid on let it cook till the chicken is done.for 3-4 whistles or 20 minutes in medium flame in cooker.
Meanwhile in another pressure cooker add soaked chana daal with water and cook for 1 whistle or 10 minutes in medium flame.
When the chicken curry is done,add this cooked chana and chicken masala put the lid on and let it cook for some time, add chopped coriander, switch off the flame. Serve this hot with naan, roti, puri and chapatti.
