Cooking side dish for Chapathi is one of my favorite job because can create various dishes by folding different ingredients or vegetables.That too non veg dishes for chapathi combination means too beautiful which makes my hungry. Though every one in family prefers drum sticks I also buy boneless chicken to try different recipes.This is one of the latest curry which I prepared for rotis by adding coconut milk..
Dish tastes depending on the coconut milk quality so for rich taste don`t compromise to add good quality milk..This is a simple yet delicious  curry with regular spice powders,onions and tomato puree.I used store bought puree,if you don`t like it,grind a big ripen tomato coarsely and use in the recipe.Around in 20 minutes you can cook this without any fuss so cook it next time and serve to your family.

WHAT YOU NEED
1 cup - coconut milk
300 grams chicken pieces without bone

1/2 cup tomato puree
salt to taste

1 tea spoon cumin seeds
3-5 green chilis
1 bay leaves
1" cinnamon stick

3 cloves
1 green cardamom pod
1 cup diced onions
few curry leaves
1 table spoon ginger garlic paste

1 tea spoon coriander power
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon garam masala

1/2 tea spoon cumin power
1/2 tea spoon chicken masala power
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

HOW TO COOK
Heat a vessel with oil,saute cumin seeds, cardamom pod,bay leaf,cinnamon stick,cloves for few seconds.Now fry onions,green chilli, ginger garlic paste until turns light golden color. Now add red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder mix well.Then add tomato puree,mix again.Cook for a minute..Add chicken and mix well.cook for 5 minutes then add a cup of water,close with lid, cook for 15 minutes in medium flame.Stir in between to avoid burning..Now pour coconut milk,stir gently Cook for 10 more minutes. Finally add cumin+coriander+chicken masala powders (or garam masala), coriander leaves and mix gently.Turn off now and rest it for 10 minutes and serve with hot white rice or rotis..
