This is an another dessert which I made last few weeks back with mangoes.In How to make mango pulp recipe post I told that I tried few desserts with mangoes. So,like I promised shared mango sheera recipe yesterday and today posting Mango phirni recipe which is an awesome dessert yet healthy too..Basically Phirni is an north Indian famous sweet pudding which is made with rice,milk and sugar.It`s quite popular sweet in festival times too.So,by mixing mango fruit we are converting it into mango phirni..
This yummy dessert is so simple to make with very few ingredients and can cook in less than 15-20 minutes.but, refrigerating the dessert takes some to taste and it`s worth to wait.Not only kids,even elders loves this delicious sweet without doubts. Also,it`s a perfect dessert in get to gethers and parties.If it is mango season in your place or if you are mango lover try this phirni immediately and don`t forget to share that how it turned out for you.

PREPARATION TIME-20 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
Fresh Mango fruit pulp/ puree -1 cup
Rice -1/4 cup
Milk -3 cups
White Sugar-1/2 cup (as per your taste can add 1 cup)
Dry fruits and nuts-few (cashew ,almonds, raisins)
Green cardamom powder-1 tea spoon
HOW TO COOK
Prepare mango puree first and keep aside.Soak rice for 15-20 minutes then grind into fine paste.Now heat milk in a vessel or non stick pan.When milk starts boiling add ground rice paste,mix well.Cook for 2-3 minutes and add sugar,stir in well,Cook for 5 minutes in medium flame by stirring.This mixture is called phirni,now add ground mango pulp,stir gently and cook for 2-3 minutes again in medium flame.Add dry fruits and nuts,cardamom powder and turn off gas..Pour this in serving glasses and refrigerate for 1-2 hours.Serve chilled.
