Sweet Potato Oats Tikki | Chilagadadumpa Tikki Recipe | Sweet Potato Cutlet Recipe | Sweet Potato Snacks

Recently I have started using sweet potato in kitchen..Few days back posted sweet potato halwa+muruku recipe in blog and this is the another recipe which is pan fried snack.This tikkis are quite easy to make,just boil and mash the potatoes,add in all spices,some flours and fry them in medium oil.
Here sweet potato mixture is too soft after boil- ing so making tikkis in good shape is task but adding flour and rolling them in oats may helps to retain shape at least.Use spatula to place them in frying pan,and should be very careful while flipping the tikki other wise may loose the shape. I suggest to don`t over boil the potatoes. It`s a simple yet guilt free snack to try and tastes best with hot cup of tea..Do try and let me know how it turned out.

WHAT YOU NEED
Sweet potato -2 big
Spice powders:
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tea spoon
Red chili powder-1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
Cumin powder- 1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder-1/2 tea spoon
Salt-to taste
Garam masala-1/2 tea spoon
Chat masala-1/2 tea spoon
Corn flour -2 table spoons
All purpose Flour/maida -2-3 table spoons
Rolled Oats-1 cup
Oil-2-4 table spoons
HOW TO COOK
Boil sweet potato until soft,peel the skin chop into pieces and mash finely using potato masher..Add all the spice powders,corn flour and add all purpose flour again. Take lemon size mixture,flatten it with fingers carefully and roll them in oats on both sides.Heat a pan with oil,pan fry the tikkis in medium-low flame on both sides.Take out carefully and serve hot with ketchup.
