When you have true non vegetarian lovers in family obviously you browse for different recipes always..Iam in one of them,more than the veg,I believe that I cook non vegetarian perfectly yet tasty too.I don`t like to cook every time same old recipes so my hands searches for variety of recipes. In that process,I found this recipe and gave a try immediately.
This zafrani mutton curry is very rich in taste because of coconut milk and cream..Also,the fresh and falvor ful ground masala gives a wonderful taste to the curry. With -out any pre-preparations on every january 1st Iam posting non veg recipes,surprisingly this year also, while working on blog clicked on this recipe and started writing it now.This curry tastes nice with bagar rice,jeera pulao or with roti also tastes great.Give a try to this wonderful dish and share your pics or opinions..

WHAT YOU NEED
Mutton with bone/lamb meat-1/2 kg
oil-2 table spoons
onions-2 medium size
ginger garlic paste/GGP-1 table spoon
salt-to taste
red chili powder-2 tea spoons
turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
cumin powder-1/2 tea spoon
coriander powder-1/2 tea spoon
black pepper powder -1/4 tea spoon
tomato puree-1/3 cup
coconut milk-1/2 cup
cream-1/4 cup
coriander leaves chopped-1/4 cup
whole garam masala ingredients 
bay leaf-1
curry leaves-few
cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
cloves-4
cinnamon stick-2 inch
green cardamom pods-2
black pepper corns-1 tea spoon 
dry red chili-4
coriander seeds-2 table spoons
javithri-1
mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
staranise-1 flower
HOW TO COOK
Heat pan,roast the whole garam masala ingredients and ground into fine powder.. Heat pressure cook with oil,add sliced onions,ginger garlic paste,saute for a minute..Add washed mutton,mix well.Add red chili powder, salt,turmeric powder,cumin powder,coriander powder,black pepper powder and mix well..After 5 minutes add tomato puree,mix once..Cook for 5 minutes,add 2 cups of water and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles (around 40 minutes in medium flame) Once after opening the lid, add (1 tbsp) ground masala, coconut milk,cook for 5 minutes in medium flame,then add cream,coriander leaves,cook for 5 minutes and turn off.serve hot with roti or rice.
