Curd raita is an indian yogurt chutney with nice tadka.It is a great side dish for rice and even with chapathi or paratha also goes well.I often makes raitas and posted few in blog already.
This is an another new variety with raw banana. After a long got green banana here in my place so immediately tried this simple yet tasty recipe. Check out the full recipe and try it soon.

PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
green/raw banana -1 large
cumin seeds,-1 tea spoon
coriander seeds-1 tea spoon
garlic cloves-4
yogurt/curd -2 cups
salt-to taste
oil-1 table spoon
For Tadka
Mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
red chili-1
hing-1/4 tea spoon
curry leaves-few
chana dal-1 tea spoon
urad dal-1 tea spoon
HOW TO COOK
peel banana skin cut into pieces,boil in hot water 5 minutes in high flame.then mash into coarse puree/paste.
In a pan dry roast cumin seeds,coriander seeds. Along with garlic cloves grind into coarse paste.
In a bowl take yogurt/curd add 1/4 cup of water if you like,I do it always.
Then add salt,mashed banana puree,ground coarse paste and mix well.
Now in a pan heat oil,add ingredients which mentioned under Tadka.Saute for few seconds then add in curd .Mix gently and serve with rice.
