Coconut Milk Tofu Gravy | Coconut Milk Recipes | Coconut Milk Tofu Masala | Tofu Gravy Recipes For Chapathi

Coconut milk became my favorite,using often in kitchen to try various recipes.Few days back posted chicken coconut milk curry recipe in blog and this is the another recipe which cooked with tofu.This tofu dish is slightly similar to chicken gravy with minor differences.
So,for vegetarians or for tofu lovers it`s a wonderful dish to try.Adding coconut milk makes the gravy so rich and tasty really.Overall,this is one of the best gravy to serve with chapathi,try it and share how it came out for you..

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-20  MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
1 cup - coconut milk
300 grams tofu/soya cheese

1/2 cup tomato puree
salt to taste

1 tea spoon cumin seeds
1 bay leaves
1" cinnamon stick

3 cloves
1 green cardamom pod
1/2 cup diced onions
1 table spoon ginger garlic paste

1 tea spoon coriander power
1 tea spoon red chili powder
1/2 tea spoon garam masala

1/2 tea spoon cumin power
1/2 tea spoon chicken masala power
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander leaves

HOW TO COOK
Take little bit of red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder,mix and add tofu.Now heat a pan with oil,fry these tofu for 5 minutes in medium flame.
Heat a vessel with oil,saute cumin seeds,bay leaf,cardamom pod,cinnamon stick, cloves, bay leaf for few seconds.Now fry finely chopped onions,ginger garlic paste until turns light golden color. Now add tomato puree,red chili powder, salt, turmeric powder mix well and cook for a minute..Add cup of water,coconut milk mix well and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame. Now add tofu stir gently cook for 10 more minutes.Finally add cumin+coriander powders, garam masala,coriander leaves and mix gently. Turn off now and rest it for 10 minutes and serve with hot white rice or rotis..
