How To Make Makhani Masala Recipe | Makhani Gravy Recipe | Basics In Cooking | Cooking Basics For Beginners

Few days back I have posted basic onion masala gravy which is a base dish to make some gravies or curries..This is also bit similar to that recipe with slight changes..Makhani dishes are popular yet nice combination to serve along with roti or chapathi.
Being a paneer and tofu lover thought to share this basic makhani gravy recipe which may helps you all too.You can freeze this masala for 1 month maximum so dish making is quite easy and time saving..Check out the full recipe and try it.

WHAT YOU NEED
 butter-3 table spoons
whole garam masala:
dry red chili-4
green cardamom pods-3
cinnamon stick-1 big stick
cloves-4
staranise-1 " no
onion-1 big size
ginger garlic paste-2 tea spoons
tomatoes-2 big size
cashews-10
red chili powder-2 tea spoons
turmeric powder-1 tea spoon
salt-to taste

HOW TO COOK
Heat butter in pan,throw whole garam masala ingredients..Then add finely chopped onions, ginger garlic paste saute for a minute.Add chopped tomatoes,cashews,red chili,mix well and cook for a minute.Add red chili powder, turmeric powder,salt and mix well.Cook for 10 minutes in medium flame,until the mixture turns mushy and soft.Then turn off and let it cool.Now take it in mixy jar and grind into a fine puree.Fill in zip lock bags or air tight container/ plastic box and freeze for 1 month..You can make paneer dishes,tofu dishes with this gravy.
