Yesterday I have posted tofu butter masala recipe using makhani sauce on blog with step wise pictures which was a nice dish to serve with roti. So,here goes one more dish using same makhani sauce and tofu.The only change is adding green peas..This is also same like paneer peas masala which is quite popular in all over the India, specially in north side states..☺
Being a chapathi lover,I need to cook different kind of side dishes to serve to pair the chapathis.. So,creating/cooking the recipes every time instead of repeating same old bored dishes.. Though I loves paneer,because of the diet plan avoiding it and trying to replace with tofu..So,for a good health choose tofu and try this dish. PREPARATION TIME-15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
Tofu-100 grams
Oil-1-2  table spoon
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Makhani gravy-1 cup
Frozen Green peas-1/2 cup
Coriander/dhaniya  powder-1 tea spoon
Coriander/cilantro leaves-few
Whipping cream-1/4 cup
HOW TO COOK
Cut tofu in bite size pieces.heat a heavy non stick pan with oil,add cumin seeds.Now add makhani gravy,saute for a minute.. Add 1 cup of water and let it boil.Then add tofu,green peas,stir gently and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.Gravy consistency is depended on adding water quantity.So,go with your choice.. Now add coriander powder,coriander leaves,stir well and cook for 5 minutes with lid.Finally add cream,mix nicely, cook for 5 more minutes and turn off..Serve hot with chapathi..
