How to make Pineapple Puree at Home | Pineapple Puree Recipe | Cooking Basics | How to Puree Pineapple

If you prefers homemade foo which prepared by by yourself, then this pineapple puree recipe also may adds in your to do list. Though store bought pineapple puree is available in stores home made is much more better and tastes great too.
This is quite useful in making pineapple milkshakes, pineapple breads, cakes, cookies, cocktails etc. Pineapple contains the enzyme bromelain which is a digestive enzyme that also has anti-inflammatory properties.
 You need
Pineapple-1 big
sharp knife
siever
glass jars or freezer box or freezer bag
Preparation
Cut away the peel and the core of pineapple. Make sure there are no brown spots on the pineapple.
Cut pineapple into rings or chunks.
Transfer pineapple pieces into blender and blend well for about 5 minutes to get a watery, yet coarse puree. Pineapple has high water content hence the puree should be drained using a sieve.
Collect the sieved puree in a clean container and use as desired...It is best stored in refrigerator for a week or two if made at home.
