Few weeks back I have posted basic Makhani Masala Recipe in blog and usng that home made masala had tried different gravies like chicken makhani, tofu makhani and tofu peas masala.. So,this is the another Tofu dish with makhani base called as Tofu butter masala.
Well,this is quite similar to paneer butter masala where as paneer is high in calories when compared with tofu..When the makhani base gravy is ready in hand it`s easy to make this gravy and one of the perfect dish to serve with chapathis..Do give a try and share your pictures..

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 20 MINUTES

WHAT YOU NEED

Tofu-100 grams
Oil-1-2  table spoon
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Makhani gravy-1 cup
Coriander/dhaniya  powder-1 tea spoon
Coriander/cilantro leaves-few
Whipping cream-1/4 cup
HOW TO COOK
Cut tofu in bite size pieces.heat a heavy non stick pan with oil,add cumin seeds.Now add makhani gravy,saute for a minute.. Add 1 cup of water and let it boil.Then add tofu,stir gently and cook for 5 minutes in medium flame.Gravy consistency is depended on adding water quantity.So,go with your choice.. Now add coriander powder,coriander leaves,stir well and cook for 5 minutes with lid.Finally add cream,mix nicely, cook for 5 more minutes and turn off..Serve hot with chapathi..
