Basic Tomato Pachadi | Tomato Pickle Recipe | Instant Pickles | South Indian Pickles Recipes

Pachadi is one of the South Indian  popular recipe which is called as pickle as well.This is a simple yet tasty pachadi which is made using chopped tomatoes.. Usually pickles can store for year maximum but this instant pickle shelf life is only maximum 10 days and better to refrigerate for fresh taste.
In pickle recipes fenugreek seeds/powder takes main place so don`t skip it.. Red tomatoes  are easily available in all the places so you can try this simple pachadi which may need just 15-20 minutes to cook..Ty this easy version and let me know how it turned out for you.

1.Red Tomatoes diced - 3-4 big size
2.Tamarind -small lemon size
3.Red chilli powder -2 tea spoons
4.Salt - to taste 
5.Garlic cloves -10 no
6.Fenugreek powder - 1/2 table spoon
7.Oil 2 tbsp + 2 tbsp
8.Tempering seeds-mustard seeds+cumin seeds+urad dal+chana dal - 1 tsp + 1 tsp+1 tsp + 1 tsp
9.Dried red chillies 3
10.Curry leaves -few

1.Take a pan pour some oil and heat it,add garlic cloves,tomatoes and saute for few minutes.
2.Cook until tomatoes are soft and tender.Switch off the flame and rest aside to cool down the mixture.
3.Take a blender add fried tomatoes,salt,red chilli powder,fenugreek powder and blend well into a coarse paste.
4.Take another pan pour some oil and heat it.Add dried red chillies,tempering seeds,curry leaves and saute for few minutes.Finally pour tempering mixture on top of chutney and mix well.
