Mushroom Sweetcorn Kurma Recipe | Sweet corn Mushroom Korma | Khorma Recipes For Chapathi

Mushrooms are one my favorite which are available in canned I mean not fresh one..Usually I cook rice varieties,gravies and some times on pizza too..This is an another dish which goes well with chapathi.I have used canned sweet corn,mushrooms and added a fresh coconut masala for gravy version..
Add some more for thin consistency..It`s not spicy the masala mixture makes the dish rich and tasty. With the same ground masala you can cook different kormas..try this version and let me how it came for you...

For Masala
 Peanuts-1/8 cup or cashews-6
Fresh coconut pieces-1/4 cup 
cinnamon stick-2" inches
staranise-1 small flower
green cardamom -1 pod

Other Ingredients
Oil-2 table spoons
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Onions-1 small size
Ginger garlic paste-1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
Red chili powder-1-2 tea spoons
Salt -to taste
Canned Mushrooms chopped -1 cup
Canned Sweet corn -1 cup
Curd-1/3 cup
Coriander powder-1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala -1/2 tea spoon
Heat a non stick pan,roast peanuts,coconut pieces,cashews and grind into fine paste using water..Now heat the same pan with oil,add cumin seeds,add finely chopped onions,ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute in low flame.Now add ground masala paste,turmeric powder,chili powder,salt and saute it..Add 2 cups of water and let it boil.When the gravy starts boiling add chopped mushroom,sweet corn and mix well..Cook this for 5 minutes in high flame.Add curd,stir gently and cook for 5 more minutes in medium flame.Add coriander powder, garam masala and mix well.Cook for 5 minutes finally  and turn off.Serve hot with chapathi..
