Tomato Chicken Curry Recipe | Tomato Murgh Masala | Simple Chicken Gravy Recipes

There are lots of chicken dishes which I have posted in blog But while thinking about what to cook on last few days back,I got an idea of cooking tomato chicken curry.. It is completely my very own recipe so the process is simple yet tasty too.
Like recipe name, tomato is main in this so this dish isn`t spicy but depending on your taste add spices.I have used chicken drum sticks so cooked in pressure cooker.You can cook this even with boneless chicken,but use vessel or pan instead of pressure cooker.. 1.Chicken with bone-1/2 kg (500 grams)
2.Tomatoes-3 medium size
3.Oil-4 table spoons
4.Salt-to taste
5.Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
6.Curd-3 table spoons
7.Ginger garlic paste-1 table spoon
8.Green Cardamom pods-2
9.Pepper corns-1 tea spoon
10.Cinnamon-1 inch stick
12.Onions-1 big size
13.Coriander powder-1 tea spoon
14.Cumin powder-1 tea spoon (optional)
15.Red chilli powder-2 tea spoons
16.Garam masala powder-1 tea spoon
17.Fresh Cilantro/Coriander leaves-few

18.Kasoori methi powder-1 tea spoon
1.Marinate chicken with salt,curd,turmeric powder,1/2 table spoon ginger garlic paste,coriander leaves and mix well.Set aside for 5-10 minutes.
2.Heat 2 table spoons oil in pan.
3.Add cardamoms,cloves,pepper corns,cumin seeds,cinnamon and let them splutter.
4.Add onions,1/2 table spoon ginger garlic paste and saute for 2-3 minutes on high heat.
5.Add 2 chopped tomatoes and cook on high heat till mixture releases oil around the pan.then turn off and let it cool,then grind into puree.
6.Heat 2 table spoons oil in pressure cooker now.Add 1 choppped tomato and saute well.then add marinade chicken and mix well.After 5 minutes add 2 cups water and pressure cook for 15 minutes in medium flame..After releasing air add this ground tomato puree and mix gently.Cook for 5 minutes again,add kasoori methi,coriander powder,garam masala and stir well and turn off..
8.Once done serve hot hot with garnished coriander leaves.
