Potato Masala for Puri | Aloo Masala For Poori | Side dishes for Puri | South Indian Breakfast Ideas

Usually for breakfast ,I prepare sandwiches,upmas somes times bakes breads too.But never puris..few days back, was craving for pooris so for breakfast tried this puri and curry.puri potato masala is the popular combination which we can see in mneu card in restaurants.
So,I thought to cook potao curry specially for this puris..It`s a simple side dish which is perfect to serve with puris actually..It is a famous and favorite to many of the south indians..

WHAT YOU NEED
oil-2 table spoons
cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
black mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
onion-1 medium size
ginger garlic paste-1 tea spoon
red chili powder-2 tea spoons
salt-to taste
turmeri cpowder-1/2 tea spoon
tomatoes -2 small size
potatoes-5-6 small size
besan flour/chickpea flour-1 table spoon
water-1/4 cup to mix with flour

HOW TO COOK
Heat a non stick pan ,add oil.Throw cumin seeds,black mustard seeds when the pan is hot..Now add finely chopped onions,ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute till onions turns light brown. Now add red chili powder,salt,turmeri cpowder and mix well.Then add finely chopped tomatoes and saute every thing..Cook this for 2 minutes till every thing turns mushy.Then add finely chopped potatoes,mix well.Add 1 cup of water and cook for 10 minutes in low flame.mean while in a bowl,take besan flour,add water and make it like a smooth paste..Pour this mixture in potato masala,stir gently and turn off after minutes..Serve hot with chapathi or puri.
