Scallions are comonly called ad Spring onion which comes under onion species.It is one of the common vegetable whcih we can get here in our place so often picks 1-2 bunches in vegetables shopping. Generally people use these in salads, soups and specially in fried rice making.
H brought  fresh bunches few days back,so while thinking about the recipe got an idea to fold it with chicken.I used boneless chicken so it`s easy to cook and time saving. Over all, this is an easy yet tasty recipe to try and tastes really good with chapathi or even with rice..

WHAT YOU NEED
500 grams boneless chicken 1 tbsp red chilli powder
1 tbsp coriader powder
coriander leaves -few
1 tea spoon cumin seeds 1 tea spoon garam masala powder 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste 2 table spoons oil as per taste - salt 2 bunches spring onion
1 small tomato 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder
HOW TO COOK
First cut the green springs and chopp very finely, and grind the bulb parts in a blender coarsely. Heat a nonstick pan, add oil, cumin seeds, onion paste mix well then add gingergarlic paste,salt, mix well and cook till light golden brown colour, then add tomatoes and cook for a minute. Now add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder, mix well then add chicken mix well add chopped spring onion leaves.Close with lid and cook for 15 minutes in low flame.Add 1/4th cup of water if it looks too dry and burning. When the chicken is tender add kasoori methi powder, garamasala powder mix well and turn off..Serve hot with bagara rice or chapathi.Squeeze lemon juice before serving.
