Chettinad Style Egg Biryani | Chettinad Egg Pulao Recipe | Easy Egg Biriyani with Normal Rice

"Biriyani"the word itself tempts everyone any time..Generally when we hear the word biryani we remembers mutton or chicken version..Those are time taking and tasty of course. So,to save time can replace meat with eggs to make biryani. 
Egg biryani is simple to cook and also a perfect Sunday meal when you serve with raita and curry. This egg biryani is a great treat for egg lovers especially for kids..
It is very easy to make and does not take much time once you are familiar with the recipe.Speciality of this egg biryani is it`s a chettinad style recipe which is folded with fresh home made chettinad masala.we couple and my kids loves eggs so this is one of our family favoroite recipe which I love to make it for them.Key of the recipe is chettinad masala so grind fresh powder..Try this  egg biryani by following the step wise pictures.

WHAT YOU NEED
Normal rice - 2 cups
Eggs -5-6
Oil-2 table spoons
Onions-2 small size
Ginger garlic paste-1 table spoon
Tomato-1 big size
Curd-1/4 cup
Mint leaves+Coriander leaves-handful
Red chili powder-2 tea spoons
Salt-to taste
Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
Cumin powder-1/2 tea spoon
Corinader powder-1/2 tea spoon
Chettinad masala powder -1 tea spoon

For Chettinad masala powder
In a non stick pan dry roast 3 red chili,1 tea spoon cumin seeds, 1 tea spoon black pepper corns,1 javithri flower,1 staranise,4 cloves and 1 cardamom pod in low flame for few seconds.Then grind into fine powder and store in box..
HOW TO COOK
wash and soak rice for an half an hour.Boil eggs in pressure cooker for 15 minutes in medium flame. Remove shells,put slits and keep aside.Heat a pan,add oil,fry these eggs for2-3 minutes..
Heat on a thick bottomed vessel.Throw sliced onions,ginger garlic paste and saute well for a minute.Then add chopped tomato ,mix once.
Then add curd,mint leaves,coriander leaves and mix well.Now add red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder, cumin powder,corinader powder,chettinad masala powder and mix well..
Now add water and let it boil.when the starts boiling add soaked rice,stir gently and cook in medim flame till water evaporates.Add eggs ,stir gently and close with lid.
Now heat a heavy bottomed tawa pan,put this vessel on pan and cook in low flame for 10 minutes.Turn off stove,leave the vessel for 10 minutes..Serve hot with raita.
