Hyderabadi Style Mutton Masala Recipe | Pressure Cooked Gosht Masala | Hyderabadi Cuisine | Mutton Recipes

Hyderabadi cuisine is one of my favorite which always inspires me to try every time.Even I have posted some hyderabadi recipes like osmania biscuits,double ka meetha, chicken biriyani etc. Basically,Biryani takes first place in hydeabadi dishes more than the mutton dishes..I have already posted lots of mutton dishes like curries,gravies and biryanis..
But when I checked out my blog there was no basic mutton recipe which is cooked using pressure cooker.That`s whyThough it is a simple recipe I thought to share it with you all..It`s easy to cook if the meat is already marinated even beginners can follow the steps easily to cook..Those who likes non veg must try this Mutton curry and definitely you`ll love it..

I made this in the evning time so almost after 7.00pm clicked the pictures.So,please excuse for the poor quality pictures.

WHAT YOU NEED
To marinate mutton:
Red chili powder-1 table spoon
Salt-to taste
Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
Garam masala-1/2 table spoon
Coriander powder-1/2 table spoon
Cumin powder-1 tea spoon
Cooking Oil/Vegetable Oil -1/4 cup
Mutton with bone/Lamb meat-300 grams
To cook Curry
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Cloves-3
Cinnamon stick-3 inches
Green cardamom pods-2-3
Bay leaf-1 no
Staranise flower-1 no
Onions-1 big size
Ginger garlic paste-1 table spoon
Tomato-1 big size
Yogurt/Curd-1/2 cup
Coriander/Cilantro leaves-few
HOW TO COOK
In a mixing bowl,take red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder,garam masala,coriander powder,cumin powder,oil and add mutton.mix well and marinate for 2 hours minimum.
Heat a pressure cooker with oil..Throw in cumin seeds,cloves,cinnamon stick,green cardamom pods,bay leaf,staranise flower.Saute for few seconds.
Then add finely chopped onions,ginger garlic paste,saute for few minutes till onions turns light brown in color.
Now add mutton,saute well.Then add chopped tomato,yogurt and stir gently.Now add 2 cups of water and pressure cook with lid for 30-40 minutes in low flame or until you get 4-5 whistles and turn off..
Then let it release wait and add freshly chopped coriander leaves.Stir gently and serve hot with chapathi or jeera rice.
After yogurt add waterfew cilantro leaves and pressure cook.here in this pictures missed that order
