Yogurt Cake Recipe with Olive Oil | Eggless Yogurt Cake Recipe | Yoghurt Cake Without eggs | Eggless Cake Recipes | Eggfree Baking

I have been waiting to bake a yogurt cake from a long time finally the day came now.It`s a basic eggless cake using yogurt as a main ingredient. Same like routine baking,tried this but after watching out the result was surprised really.. Because though it is without eggs, texture was so fluffy and spongy inside.

All purpose flour may gives a light textured cake but I used whole wheat flour which is gluten free..Even you can replace oil with un salted butter or vegetable oil..For vegetarians or egg haters must try this version.Try it and share your pictures..

Olive oil-1/2 cup
Store bought Yogurt-1 cup (I used mixed fruit flavored sweetened yogurt)
Sugar-1 cup
Vanila essence-1 tea spoon
Wheat flour-1 1/2 cups
Baking soda-1/2 tea spoon
Baking powder-1 tea spoon
Salt-1/2 tea spoon

Preheat oven at 180 degree C.Take round shaped cake tin or oven proof glass bowl.Apply oil or butter ans sprinkle flour evenly.
Take a blender or mix jar.Pour in oil,yogurt,sugar,vanila,mix with spoon..Blend for few seconds until sugar dissolves.
Then add in flour,baking soda,baking powder,salt and blend for few seconds till you get batter consistency.
Instead of blender better use mixing bowl..Then pour the batter in tin and tap tin on floor to avoid air bubbled inside.
Place this in oven and bake for 30 minutes.Check out the cake by inserting a tooth pick.If the tooth pick is clean,your cake is perfectly done.Turn off oven,keep the cake tin in room temperature.After 10-15 minutes serve..
