COOKING TIME-20-30  MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
Vegetable oil-2 table spoons
Basmati rice-1 cup 
onions-2 small size
Ginger garlic paste-2 tea spoons
Green chili-5-6
Coriander leaves-handful
mint leaves -handful
Salt- to taste
Whole garam masala Ingredients:
Bay leaves-2
Staranise-1 flower
Cinnamon stick-2 inches size
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Black pepper corns-1 tea spoon

Green cardamom pods-3
Shahijeera-1 tea spoon
Cloves-3
Javithri-2 small
HOW TO COOK
Wash and soak rice in water for 30 minutes..Heat a vessel,add oil.Throw whole garam masala ingredients,saute for few seconds.
Add finey chopped onions,ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute in medium flame.Then add chopped green chili,fresh coriander,mint leaves and mix well.
Cook this for a minute in low flame and add water.Add salt to taste.When the water starts boiling add soaked rice,stir gently.
Cook in medium flame fro 10 minutes, till the water evaporates and rice turns soft..Then keep it low flame for 5 minutes or cook on dum method (keep tawa pan on heat,put this rice vessel on top) to avoid burning rice in the bottom.
Turn off flame and rest it for 10 minutes.Serve hot with mutton bhuna or chicken gravy.
