In India generally Mango season starts in march last week which ends by june 1st week.But for us , I mean here in Foz do Iguazu it starts in September.menari  Like Neem trees in India,we have lots of Mango trees on road side even near to my apartment also we have few.Now,green mangoes are easily available in my place,which tempted me to try some thing.senyum
 Few days back,while going to morning walk,saw few mangoes so couldn`t control my self,plucked few and tried this rice variety immediately.tepuktangan This rice is simple to cook, tangy in taste and tastes good with some spicy pickle and curd..When you get green Mangoes,try it and serve hot.sengihnampakgigi

PREPARATION TIME- 10 MINUTES

WHAT YOU NEED
Vegetable oil-2 table spoons
Mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Fenugreek seeds/Methi seeds/Menthulu-1/2 tea spoon
Curry leaves-few 
Urad dal-1 tea spoon
Chana dal-1 tea spoon
Green chilli-4-5
grated mango-1 cup
Salt-to taste
Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon 
Cooked White Rice-2 cups
HOW TO COOK
Heat a non stick pan with oil,throw mustard seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaves,urad dal,chana dal and saute for few seconds.
Add green chilli,grated mango,salt,turmeric powder mix well and cook for 5minutes in low flame.
Then add rice and stir gently.Cook it in low flame for 5 minutes with a lid and turn off.after 10 minutes serve hot with mango pachadi and curd/yogurt.
