Chocolate Fruit Cake with Storebought Mix | Christmas Fruit Cake with Rum | Christmas Cakes Recipes

Christmas is coming in few days so, hope you people are in preparations. I have few x-mas recipes in the draft, and this is in one of them. This is a fruit cake with the store-bought mix. Usually I don`t buy store bought mix packets but to experiment something bought a pack and finally, this is the recipe which came out in my kitchen. Every store bought mix mentions about the ingredients list which need to add to it.
So, along with those, I have added few more and even some flour. You can add any dry fruits and nuts as per your choice. If you have time soak nut sin rum overnight or 1-hour minimum is fine.But soaking nuts for long tie gives a nice flavor to the cake.Try this chocolate flavored fruit cake and enjoy.Don`t forget to share the pictures if you try any recipes.

WHAT YOU NEED
Storebought cake mix-1 packet
Eggs-2
3% fat Milk-1 cup 
Vegetable oil -1/2 cup
Other Ingredients
Lemon juice-1 teaspoon
Cinnamon powder-1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence-1 teaspoon
Baking powder-1/2 teaspoon
Salt-1/2 teaspoon
Baking Soda-1/2 teaspoon
Dry fruits and nuts -1 cup
Rum-1/3 cup
Maida flour/ All purpose flour-1/3 cup
HOW TO BAKE
On the back side of the cake mix, you can find the ingredients list.So, this cake mix mentioned about eggs, milk, and butter.
Take chopped dry fruits&nuts in a bowl, pour the rum and soak for 1 hour. 
In a mixing bowl, break 2 eggs, add milk and beat well.Then add lemon juice, cinnamon powder, vanilla essence, baking powder, salt, soda, oil, and mix everything. 
Now add dry fruits, nuts, rum and stir gently.Now add store bought cake mix, extra maida flour and mix evenly. 
In a cake tin apply butter and dust with flour and pour this batter.
Tap cake tin on flour to avoid bubbles and bake for 40 minutes at 180 degrees in an oven.Check out with a toothpick and turn off.
Let it cool to the room temperature then slice and serve a warm slice with milk.
