Spinach Potato Curry | Palak Aloo Subji | Subzi Recipes For Chapathi



Some combinations always turns out hit which never disappoints I think..I am talking about food combinationssengihnampakgigi  Usually i cook simple plak stir fry with onion and garlic addition which gies well chapathi or even with white rice as a sidedish.But this time added potatoes and they stirfry came out so good. menari This stirfry is not only healthy yet very tasty to serve with hot chapathis.celebrate 
It`s goo dadd leafy vegetables in our daily menu so this kind of fries makes our food more delicious and satisfying..senyum Kids avoid leafy veggies but at the same time they like potatoes so definitely they`ll like this variety. Cook this simple palak aloo fry and serve hot with roti or rice along with some curd and pickle.tepuktangan

WHAT YOU NEED
Oil-2 table spoons
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
Mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
Urad dal-1 tea spoon
Chana dal-1 tea spoon
Curry leaves-few
Onion-1 small
Ginger garlic paste-1 tea spoon
Spinach-2 small bunches or 1 big bunch
Red chili powder-2 tea spoons
Salt-to taste
Turmeric powder -1/2 tea spoon
Coriander powder-1 tea spoon
Garam masala -1 tea spoon

HOW TO COOK
Heat  a non stick pan with oil.Throw cumin seeds,mustard seeds,urad dal,chana dal,curry leaves.
When the seeds crackle,add finely chopped onions,ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute in medium flame.
Then add finely chopped spinach and stir gently.After a minute add boiled potatoes,stir once. 
Now add red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder and mix gently.Cover with lid and cook in low flame for 5 minutes. Add little bit water to avoid burning and cook for 5-8 minutes in low flame.
Add coriander powder,garam masala stir evenly and turn off.Serve hot with chapathi along with pickle and curd.
