Raita is nothing bur curd which is mixed with finely chopped onions and herbs along with very few spices.I prefer raitas along with biriyani or Pulao which makes the meal more satisfying.menari Raita is not only tasty but also very healthy because of fresh herbs and whole spices.celebrate
This is my very own creation which I have prepared a few days back using fresh mint. I served with coconut milk pulao along with khatta mutton & Prawns pepper fry.tepuktanganCheck below for full recipe and for some more raita recipes.sengihnampakgigi

 Raw Banana Curd Raita Recipe 


WHAT YOU NEED
Yogurt/ Curd-2 cups
green chili-3-4
 mint leaves-2 handfuls/ 2 cups roughly packed
coriander leaves-1 fistful
cumin seeds-1 teaspoon
 chopped ginger-few pieces
 onion-1 small
salt -as per your taste
HOW TO PREPARE
In a mixy jar take green chili, mint leaves, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, chopped ginger. Ad little bit water and grind into a fine paste/mixture.
Now in a bowl, take the finely chopped onion, add ground mixture, add salt, curd (yogurt) and stir gently.
Rest this for 10 minutes and serve Biryani/Pulao or Fried rice along with Gravy.
