Hi everyone! Hope you all doing great. After 2 months break here Iam with a delicious cake recipe. I have been thinking to re start the blogging but somehow other works are making me tired so blogging standing in the last place every time. But this time I have decided strongly to be active in my blog so definitely I`ll share maximum recipes like before years.

Coming to the recipe, In my pound cakes recipes list, this chocolate version stands in top 5. Though the recipe calls for white(all purpose flour) flour (maida) I used wheat flour and still it tasted so nice. This chocolate pound cake loaf was light, spongy in texture with butter flavor. WHAT YOU NEED
Butter -1 cup (200 grams)
Eggs-4
Sugar-1 1/4 cups
Cocoa- 1/4 cup+ Hot water-1/4 cup
Baking powder-1 teaspoon
Baking soda-1 teaspoon
Vanilla essence-1 teaspoon
Wheat flour -1 1/2 cups
HOW TO BAKE
Take soft butter in a mixing bowl, beat once using hand beater machine. Add eggs and beat again for half a minute.
Then add sugar and beat again. In a small bowl, add cocoa, water and mix well without any lumps.
Now add this to the bowl, and stir gently. Then add baking powder, soda, vanilla essence, wheat flour and mix gently.
Now take a bread baking loaf pan, line a parchment paper, grease with butter and dust with flour or cocoa.
Pour batter and tap cake tin on the kitchen table to release air bubbles.
Preheat oven to 180-degree centigrade. After 10 minutes place the cake tin in the oven and bake for 55-60 minutes.
Check out with a toothpick,  if it comes out clean, turns off and let it rest for 15-20 minutes at room temperature. Serve hot with a cup of milk/ coffee.
