Murukku or Chakli is a deep fried snack made from rice flour, gram flour, wheat flour or a mixture of lentil flours. they are also known as murukku in south India. Festivals are on the way, which calls for delicious sweets and snacks. So, I thought to share some recipes which can help you to make in this festival season.
I have already shared some famous murukku recipes like roasted chana dal murukku, poha murukku, oats murukku, ragi flour murukku in the blog so this time introducing a new murukku recipe which made with coconut milk. I used thick coconut milk.

WHAT YOU NEED
Rice flour (I used storebought pack) - 2 cups Besan flour - 1/2 cup Softened butter - 1 tbsp Hot oil - 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
Water - as needed to make the dough
Oil (1 litre)-for deep frying
HOW TO COOK
1. In a mixing bowl, take rice flour, besan flour, add salt, ground paste, butter, hot oil and mix well with fingers. 
2. Then add little water and make a slightly tight dough. Heat a good amount of oil in a deep bottomed Kadai.
3. Take small dumpling and place inside murukku maker and press with hands in hot oil. Fry two sides in a medium flame carefully. 4. Once it becomes crispy transfer into a paper towel. Do the same with the remaining dough. 5. Now rice flour garlic murukku is ready to serve.
