Paneer Korma | Paneer Khurma | Paneer Masala Korma with Coconut | Kurma Recipes | Paneer Gravy Recipes

Here is the recipe of Paneer gravy in coconut base. I have been trying to post this type of khurma from a very long time.Finally, I was able to make some space for it. Paneer recipes are one of the most popular recipes in indian restaurants.

Personally,I love paneer dishes,specially with roti they tastes great..I have already posted some popular recipes like paneer butter masala,paneer lababdar in blog.This time introducing an aromatic and rich korma of soft, succulent paneer cubes in a tangy onion-tinged tomato gravy.Prepare this Paneer khurma recipe at home by following this step by step instructions along with pictures. I hope you like it. Serve hot with any puri, roti of your choice.

1.Coconut pieces-1/4 cup
2.Salt-to taste
3.Cashew nuts-1/4 cup
4.coriander powder-1/2 tea spoon
5.Paneer cubes-150 grams
6.garam masala-1/2 tea spoon
7.Oil-2 table spoons
8.Onion-1 medium size
9.Tomatoes chopped-1 big (optional)
10.Turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
11.Red chilli powder-1 tea spoon
12.coriander leaves-few
whole garam masala ingredients
cloves2+cinnamon stick 1 inch+1 green cardamom pod+staranise small


1.Heat a non stick pan,add coconut and saute till light brown colour for 1 minute,stir continuously.
2.Add cashew nuts and dry roast for a minute,once done keep aside to cool down.
3.Add whole garam masala and blend into a fine paste by adding some water as required.
4.Heat some oil in a pan,add panner and fry till light brown colour,keep aside.It`s optional.I skipped this step..
5.Add 2 table spoons oil.when it it hot,add onions and saute till golden brown color,add tomatoes,turmeric,red chilli powder,salt and 1/2 cup water,cook for 2 minutes and keep stirring occasionally.
6.Now add coconut paste,saute on a medium flame for a minute.
7.Add paneer cubes and mix,cook on medium heat for 1-2 minutes till done,finally add garam masala,corinader powder and mix well.Then turn off and serve hot with garnished coriander leaves.
