Phirni is a classic indian sweet pudding which is a popular dessert from North India. This apple phirni is loaded with taste,which is cooked with  apple and rice cooked in boiling milk and sugar.
This creamy delicious phirni recipe goes well as a dessert in get to gethers or aprties.If you are calorie conscious, try out this simple sugar free recipe without compromising the taste. Phirni can be flavored with seasonal fruits of choice.

1.Red Apple- 1 big fruit
2. Basmati Rice or Normal Rice -1/4 cup
3.Sugar-1/2 cup or 3/4 cup
4.Cardamom powder-1 tea spoon
5.Cashew nuts,almonds,Kismis-few/optional

6. Full cream Milk or 3% fat Milk -1/2 litre
1.Take a pan pour 1/2 ltr milk and bring it boil.Wash and soak rice for 15 minutes.
2.Add 1/4 cup soaked basmati rice to grinder and prepare a paste by adding milk.
3.Add this mixture to the boiling milk and cook it,without forming any lumps and bring it to a thick consistency.
4.Add 1/2 cup sugar to this mixture.
5.Add cardamom powder.Mix it well,Cook for 10 minutes in low flame.
6.Rest the mixture to cool for 10 minutes.
7.Add 1 cup apple pieces,grated badam,kismis,cashew nuts to this mixture.
8.Rest this mixture in refrigerator for an hour.Serve cold..!!
