I was pretty excited to try this recipe which I found in christmas recipes category..These cookies are crunchy and too sweet because of extra powdered sugar coating..Actually,I was not at all interested to roll them in sugar powder but as per recipe indicates did little bit..I feel this sugar dominates the chocolate flavor but according to the recipe name should follow the rules.
To avoid sticky dough put it in the freezer for 15 minutes or in refrigerator for 30-45 minutes and used spoons to scoop out the dough directly into the powdered sugar. Once the dough was in the sugar, they were easy to handle and just plopped into a perfect circle onto the pan. And you must used greased pans or they will stick terribly because of the powdered sugar on the bottom of the cookie.

Sugar-1 cup
All purpose flour-2 cups
Cocoa powder-1 cup
baking powder-2 tea spoons
Vanilla essence-2 tea spoons
Butter-1/3 cup
Powdered Sugar-1/2 cup for coating cookies
In a mixing bowl,take melted butter,add eggs,sugar,vanilla mix well.Add cocoa,flour,baking powder and make into a dough.Refrigerate this for 20 minutes at least for good result.
Now preheat oven at 200 degree C.Place a parchment paper in baking tray,apply oil or butter on it and keep aside..
Now take lemon size dough,give a round shape then roll in sugar to coat well.Now arrange cookies in tray and bake for 15-20 minutes or until cookies become lightly hard.Turn off oven,take out the tray and let cookies cool and serve with hot milk..
