Pineapple Sheera | How to make Pineaple Rava Kesari | Pineapple Sweets

Pineapple Sheera is one of the popular Indian dessert especially made during special poojas,in festival times or fasting days etc. It is a delicious halwa made with sooji, sugar, ghee and flavoured with fresh pineapple puree.
You can also add pineapple pieces which gives a nice taste to halwa. More than the store bought Pineapple pulp,fresh fruit gives a nice flavor and juicy taste to sheera. It’s a versatile fruit halwa which is mouth-watering..

1.Pineapple puree -1/2 cup
2.Pineapple chunks 1/4 cup (optional)
3.Bombay ravva/sooji rava/semolina rava -1/2 cup
4.Sugar -1/2-3/4  cup
5.Cardamom powder -1 tea spoon
6.Saffron strands 1/4 tbsp (yellow food color-2 pinches)
7.Butter or ghee- 4 tbsp
8.Water 1 cup
9.Cashew nuts ,Almonds,Raisins-few

1.Cut the edges of pineapple and chop them in small bites.Remove the middle hard portion of pineapple and make puree with chopped pieces.
2.Heat a non stick pan melt butter or ghee,add chopped nuts and take them in a bowl.Then add bombay ravva and saute till turns light golden in color..
4.Add water and mix,cover and cook till water absorbs by sooji. (bombay ravva)
5.Add pineapple puree,saffron or food color and cook in low flame till water is absorbed.
6.Add sugar,mix well.Cook for 5 minutes on low medium heat by stirring in between.Now add raisins,cardamom powder,mix,cover and cook for 2-3 minutes and turn off..Serve warm..
